Salt Lake City Wedding Photographer
Northern Utah brides: Why should you hire a professional wedding photographer? If you're here reading this, you're considering your options. Yes, professional photographers cost a lot of money. A wedding is expensive. By the time you pay for a dress, a venue, flowers, decor, cake, bridesmaids dresses, and tuxes, what is left?
We highly recommend before you spend any money on your wedding, you plan your budget. What is your top priority? In our (highly biased) opinion, having a great wedding photographer needs to be at the top of your list. What happens when your wedding day is over? Your dress is stuck in a closet, your cake is long eaten, your flowers are gone. All you have left is your own memories and pictures. Unfortunately, you may forget some of those incredible details you spent so much time planning. A great photographer will help you remember time and time again as you go through your beautiful photographs.
"But my aunt with the nice camera can get those shots. She's just learning and I want to help her out." While sometimes having an inexperienced photographer take your pictures can save you a lot of money, your wedding day only happens once. You don't want to take that chance. We've all heard of brides that their pictures from their wedding day were lost. A professional photographer takes precautions, like having backup cameras/SD cards and a 2nd photographer, to ensure that a devastation like that won't happen to you. Consider what you want to remember from your wedding day. Do you want to remember that your photographer ruined your wedding pictures, or do you want to remember the details of one of the best days of your life?
