Wedding Photographs in Logan Utah

Often a couple's story touches a photographer's heart in such a way that every time we look at their wedding photos, we remember their sweet journey. This couple was no exception. The bride had lost her husband 15 years earlier to cancer. As much as she missed her sweetheart, she felt very lonely. She raised 3 beautiful daughters, the youngest of which was only 7 when he passed away. Her youngest daughter had left the nest and she felt like she would really like to find some companionship. Her oldest daughter was married to a wonderful young man, whose uncle had within the last few years lost his wife to cancer as well. This sweet son-in-law gave his uncle her number so they could talk and she could share some of her experiences with him. Regardless of their locations, states apart (one in Utah, one in Kansas), they talked and emailed back and forth and started to fall in love. At one point, he came to Utah to visit family and his nephew (her son-in-law) thought they should meet for the first time. It didn't take long for them to feel a connection to one another; a connection so strong that they felt their former spouses had orchestrated their meeting and were happy to see them no longer alone. We will never forget the sweetness in the way they talked to one another or their loving glances back and forth. We truly enjoyed capturing a few of those glances on camera. 1/250; f/3.2; ISO 100; 70.0 mm.
